Thank you for choosing Charlotte Hockey Lab. To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants, please review and adhere to the following terms and conditions associated with your reservation.

1. Cancellation Policy

  • Notice Requirement: Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled session.

  • Cancellation Method: All cancellation requests must be submitted via email to info@charlottehockeylab.com.

  • Late Cancellations: Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the session may be subject to a cancellation fee.

2. Participant Limitations

  • Maximum Participants: Each reservation is limited to a maximum of 5 shooters/skaters.

  • Purpose: This limitation ensures that every participant has adequate space and time to fully benefit from the session.

3. Waiver Requirement

  • Mandatory Waiver: All individuals entering the facility, whether participating or observing, must complete and sign a Liability Waiver prior to the session.

  • Access to Waiver: The waiver can be completed online through our booking platform or in person upon arrival.

  • Minors: Participants under the age of 18 must have the waiver signed by a parent or legal guardian.

4. Equipment Usage & Safety Guidelines

RapidShot & RapidHands Equipment

  • App Requirement: All players intending to use the RapidShot or RapidHands equipment must download the RapidShot app and create a player profile prior to arrival.

  • App Availability: The app is available for download on both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

  • Purpose: This ensures a seamless experience and allows players to track their performance effectively.

Synthetic Ice Skating Treadmill

  • Training Requirement: Due to the advanced nature of the Skating Treadmill, proper training is essential for safe usage.

  • Usage Conditions: Users must either:

    • Be accompanied by a coach who is properly trained in operating the treadmill and harness system, or

    • Be over the age of 21 and have received proper training on the equipment.

  • Safety Emphasis: This policy is in place to prevent injuries and ensure the safety of all participants.

5. Facility Conduct

  • Respectful Behavior: All participants and guests are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful and sportsmanlike manner.

  • Prohibited Actions: Any behavior deemed inappropriate or disruptive may result in removal from the facility without a refund.

  • Facility Care: Please help us maintain a clean and safe environment by disposing of trash properly and respecting facility property.

6. Liability & Indemnification

  • Assumption of Risk: Participation in activities at Charlotte Hockey Lab involves inherent risks. By signing the waiver, participants acknowledge and accept these risks.

  • Indemnification: Charlotte Hockey Lab, its coaches, and staff are not responsible for any injuries or accidents that may occur during sessions.
